What We Do

Services

Five services, one workshop in Al Quoz. From a designer's CAD file to a finished piece installed on site.

Custom Furniture Fabrication

Tailor-made furniture for luxury residential villas, commercial offices and retail showrooms.

We manufacture furniture to your specification rather than adapting something from a catalogue. Every commission is drawn, engineered and built for the space it will occupy.

That covers one-off bespoke pieces as readily as short-, medium- and large-scale production runs — the same facility, the same people and the same standard at either end of the scale.

  • Luxury residential villas, commercial offices and retail showrooms
  • One-off bespoke pieces made to a single specification
  • Short-, medium- and large-scale production runs

Architect & Interior Designer Collaboration

A workshop that reads your drawings and answers in prototypes.

We work directly with architects and interior designers, translating technical files into production and advising on what a material or a finish will actually do once it is made.

Send 3D models, CAD, SketchUp files, PDFs or hand sketches. We are equally happy to work under a non-disclosure agreement where a concept is your own.

  • Consultation on material selection and finishing techniques
  • Rapid sampling and prototyping before production begins
  • Technical file translation, from CAD through to production
  • NDA-friendly execution for custom designer concepts

Specialty Craftsmanship & Woodworking

Machining, cutting, finishing and surface work, all in-house.

Our workshop pairs traditional bench craft with the machinery that makes precision repeatable — CNC router cutting, wood turning and band saw work for the cutting, and a dedicated spray booth for the finish.

Because the machining and the finishing sit under one roof, a component is never handed to a stranger halfway through, and a tolerance set at the cutting stage still holds at the polishing stage.

  • CNC router cutting, wood turning and band saw precision cutting
  • Spray booth painting and polishing
  • Laminating and vacuum bed pressing

Upholstery & Restoration

Custom leatherwork, re-upholstery, and bringing older pieces back.

Our upholsterers cut and work leather and cloth by hand, whether that is dressing a new frame or re-covering a piece you already own and would rather keep.

We also restore. Structural repair, conservation and sympathetic renewal of furniture that is worth the trouble — which is often the furniture that was made properly to begin with.

  • Furniture restoration and conservation
  • Structural repair of existing pieces

On-Site Installation & Assembly

Delivered, fitted and finished by the people who made it.

A commission is not finished when it leaves the workshop. Our own team delivers to site, installs and fits — built-in millwork and standalone pieces alike.

White-glove handling throughout, and the people on site are the people who know how the piece was built, so an adjustment on the day is a conversation rather than a delay.

The Process

Design. Build. Perfect.

Three stages, and no stage begins before the one before it is finished properly.

  1. The FlorenStyle team reviewing a veneered panel together on the workshop floor

    Design

Send us a 3D model, a CAD or SketchUp file, a PDF or a sketch on paper. We translate it into something the workshop can build, advise on materials and finishes, and sample or prototype it before any production begins.

  2. A master upholsterer marking and cutting a full leather hide by hand on the cutting table

    Build

Components are machined by CNC router, wood turning and band saw, then assembled by hand. Upholstery is cut and worked over the frame by our own upholsterers, in leather or cloth chosen with you.

  3. A FlorenStyle craftsman hand-spraying a lacquer finish onto a timber frame in the finishing bay

    Perfect

Finishing happens in our own spray booth — painting, polishing, laminating and vacuum bed pressing. Then our team delivers to site and installs it, so the people fitting the piece are the people who made it.
